Calm and central place to stay in Buenos Aires.

The space

I'm actually living alone in a three-room flat in the center of Buenos Aires, so I can offer accomodation for 1 traveller looking for a calm place to stay.
The flat, located on a first floor of a 80's building, has two-independent rooms, a living-roon, bathroom and kitchen. It counts with all needed for a comfortable basic (not luxurious) time at home. Microwave, fridge and washing machine are available.
It is a non-smoking space.

The flat is located in an area known as Barrio Norte. This is living sector in Recoleta neighbourghood, full of day and night life (restaurants, shops, offices) and someway excentered from the more touristy and expensive cimetery area. From the flat is easy to go walking to most of main attractions in the city, like the mentioned Recoleta, Congreso, Abasto (Tango shows, Teatro Ciego), Palermo (bars, restaurants, discos).
The area is safe and well deserved in transport (several bus lines, subway D and H lines) and other services (supermarkets, banks, bars, etc).
I can provide information about activities to do, places to go, and depending on my working schedule I might be able to share a meal or a visit. I can eventually offer a ride also.

Very simple place but more than enough for a short trip, close to the center, to restaurants and groceries, you don't even need to take transports. A bit noisy in the evening but with the window closed it's very fine.

Staying at Pablo's was perfect for me. The room is basic and comfortable. The kitchen and living room were available for my use. Pablo was a conversational and accommodating host — he came home to help me figure out a problem I was having with the apartment door key in the middle of the day. He lives in the apartment while you rent the room, so he is available to recommend restaurants and sights. The only thing I wish I had known is that there is no AC, which may bother some in the summertime.

The place is exactly as described, basic but it comes with everything you need. Pablo's a really helpful guy and arranging arrival and departure was a breeze.

Pablo was a wonderful host. Firstly, he was very accommodating in regards to my move in and move out times. Secondly, he provided me with pesos in exchange for dollars on occasion so I would not need to incur the exorbitant ATM fees. Thirdly, he was very kind and gave me quite a few recommendations about what to do around the city. Lastly, he spoke very good English. Everything in the description is accurate. However, the only slight issue I had with the bedroom is that I could at times hear motorcycles outside of the apartment tearing through the streets as I was in bed. Though I get that in my personal apartment too. In sum, I highly recommend Pablo and his flat for your stay in BA. It is in a pretty central location and is a great overall value.

Pablo User ProfilePablo is a superhost.

I'm living and working in Buenos Aires since July 2012. I'm a calm, accomodant and communicative person. I love and practice sports and cooking, and also to travel and specially to get in touch with the local culture in places I visit. As tips and recommendations from locals is a good way to do so, I try to offer the same to my guests, allowing them to enjoy Buenos Aires from a different perspective.
I like to give my guests their privacy. Anyway, I am always available through AirBnB message, email or phone, and I am happy to make your visit easier.
