Jane is an excellent host. Her communication prior to arrival was excellent. When I arrived she was super friendly and showed me to the large, comfortable suite - and wasn't phased that I was planning to leave at 5:15am. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa in the included private sitting room. Everything was spotlessly clean. As I was doing a triathlon I brought my own breakfast but was invited to help myself to orange juice from the fridge. I'd definitely stay again.
After an initial hiccup with arrival, as we both forgot to contact each other re expected arrival time, this was the perfect accommodation for a weekend visiting friends and family locally. Jane is a great hostess, and made me feel at home, with a cup of tea and a warm welcome. The room is comfortable and spacious, with an adjacent study/sitting-room and lovely ensuite with large shower, so there is room to spread out. A kettle, tea and coffee is provided in the sitting room and I was given my own key so I could come and go as I pleased. Breakfast is a choice of full English or continental and Jane took the time to chat to me as I ate which was nice. The house is in a quiet backwater of Olney, a few minutes walk from the high street, so no traffic noise at night. I would stay with Jane again on my next visit and highly recommend this as a great B and B.
I stayed with Jane for 2 nights whilst working in the area. She is a most excellent host & made me very welcome. She also cooks a fabulous breakfast. My room was like a luxury suite with everything you would need. I would highly recommend. Olney is a lovely market town with good pubs & restauarants.
Jane is friendly and very welcoming. The room was ideal for our needs for the evening. My husband and I were staying for one night and nothing was to much trouble. Jane lent me her iron and board, as my clothing had become terribly creased during the journey. Breakfast was full English, or continental, with loads of fresh fruit. Great stay.
