Welcome to Backpacker's House: A great way for solo travelers to meet others while staying in a fantastic location! You'll have a dorm bed (comfy memory foam mattress) in a hostel-style room for resting and desks to get work done (cable WiFi: 26mbps Dwn, 11mbps Up). Enjoy teas & coffee on the house or walk to great local restaurants & the Bishop Arts District! Public transit close by, including the FREE Dallas Streetcar to downtown.

It's what one can expect from a safe hostel environment -- but I highly suggest bringing a pair of slippers as the floors *are* common space with an abundance of people AND the floors are bone-chillingly cold in the fall Dallas temperature (low 30's, high 60's).

Luu is an excellent host, he is never far away and can often be found at the property itself mingling with the guests. Shared fridge space and entire kitchen with stove/oven and toaster oven helped a ton since I was staying for a month. Great social atmosphere, always new people …

This is my first time staying at a Hostel like place. I enjoyed my stay. Perfect for a single person to stay overnight and for backpackers.

Very nice spot not far from anything at all can walk to bishop arts or a short uber/lyft ride to deep ellum would definitely stay here again
