A one bedroom unit on the top floor of a 120-year-old Queen Anne all-brick gem in historic Compton Heights. Modern convenience in a vintage package. A queen size bed and a loveseat sleeper accommodate three adults. If you want to eat in, the kitchen is ready for you. The multi-faceted ceilings and the irregular floorplan create a fun and fanciful space. Off street parking. Steps from Tower Grove Park, South Grand shopping, and SLU Hospital. Easy access to I-64, I-55, and I-44.
The neighborhood feels very safe to me. I included the photos of my neighbors' houses to show how upscale it is. I have put keypad deadbolts on both the street entry door and the door to your apartment, providing double security. There is off-street parking for four vehicles, at the back of the house, accessible by an alleyway just around the corner. Street parking is always available as well, and this is the option I usually go with.
This is a third floor space. This means stairs; 39 of them to be exact. Five to the front door, 17 to the second floor landing, and 17 more inside the unit.
Guests have the use of the entire apartment, including a full kitchen with fridge, range, microwave, pots & pans, and cooking tools. Also a "smart" TV with wifi access to the web. I've got Netflix, and guests can access Amazon, Hulu, etc., on their own accounts if they have them.
Interaction with guests
Keypad deadbolts are in use, so no check-in is necessary. However, I live in the building and I am available in person or by telephone to answer every need and try to answer every question.
Other things to note
This is my first attempt at Airbnb. Whatever you need to make your stay a success, if it's not already provided it will be, on your request.
