Daniel's place was greatly situated and it was perfect for our week-long stay in Paris. There are multiple metro stations around and the neighborhood has a great nightlife. Daniel's place was spacious and it allowed for everyone to have personal time after long days exploring Paris.

Large and we'll appointed, great host, one of the best airbnb's I have ever used just right for three families, two thumbs up

Daniel has a beautiful place that is located near many metro lines and bus routes. Both he and his friend, Romain, were very communicative and understanding when work delayed our arrival by an hour (my friend and I were wrapping up a work trip and staying in Paris for a long weekend). The street the flat sits on is a main thoroughfare through the 11th arrondissement with many cafes, bars and (most importantly) a music venue that the loft rests directly above. If your vibe for your time in Paris is to be in the heart of the action and staying out late then I think this place is perfect. If, however, you are looking for a comfortable place to call home there should be a few things to note: I'd like to start by reinforcing that, for the most part, this place is wonderfully appointed with an eclectic decor, great bathroom with a double shower, large living room and eat-in-kitchen for entertaining and ample space for getting work done if you need a dual purpose home. When we arrived there were towels and small, hotel-sized toiletries in each sleeping area and the apartment was clean (some dust, but nothing egregious). Another fun addition is the Sonos system that one can connect to if you have one at home! The problems for us started as we returned home from dinner. The entry is the closest nook to the venue downstairs so people are often congregated (not personally a big problem but something to note). Everything was in full-swing and we were hoping the newness of the building would mean great sound isolation for the residences. It did not, unfortunately. The bass can be heard throughout the apartment and continues until the venue closes around 4am. The secondary bedroom is located above one of the venue bathrooms and you can hear the high speed style hand dryers intermixed with the bass. I had to listen to music to try and drown that out but you also feel the pulsations. The street itself is also noisy with people hanging around the venue but that can be mostly blocked by closing the sliding doors - I am also living in NYC so street noise is nothing new nor much of a problem (again, just something to note for those who may not be so used to that). I would, honestly, overlook most of this and chalk it up to staying in a LES/Williamsburg type area in Paris but the beds were not particularly comfortable (or technically a mattress-style bed in the case of the master bedroom). The bed photographed in the master bedroom is a ~thin~ cushion on a wooden platform and the secondary bedroom has a pullout sofa bed that is a bit uneven. I think having only one of these conditions would have made a huge difference in overall comfort, but the noise plus the bedroom amenities made for an uncomfortable stay in a lovely apartment. Again, I want to say...

Very nice apartment, lovely furniture and decoration. We liked the lively neighbourhood and pubs/bars around the place. Daniel was not around for the check-in; he was replaced by Kentin who gave us a very friendly welcome. There are different Metro lines in walking distance, which makes it easy to reach the interesting places in short time.

The apartment is perfect. I had a great time in Paris, with my family. It was properly designed in every single detail, so that we can feel at home. The apartment is near the tube station, in a very interest, clean and secure place. There are lots of places around, if you want to eat or simply drink something with your family. In terms of interior design, the best place in the apartment is the kitchen. You have everything you need in it, in order to prepare your meal, while you can interact with other people, because it is very well located. The host was very kind and helpful. No doubt, we will get back to this address in the next time in Paris.

Daniel was out of the country when we arrived but his friend Kentin made us feel very welcome and was flexible on our time of arrival, which was great as our flight was a little bit delayed. The loft is magnifique!! Definitely the best place I have ever stayed in in Paris. We would love to stay there again. Thank you so much for making our vacation in Paris one of the best ones ever 3

The host Daniel was out of the country, therefore his friend Romain made us feel welcomed. The photos were lovely on the Airbnb site, however the place was just ok. It was a "cool" flat, however shower leaked and the refrigerator didn't work, and the place was not dusted, or clean, except for clean sheets. We had to purchase soap, paper towels, and kleenex, and use our towels to dry the shower leak. The neighborhood was pretty cool, lost of coffee, restaurants, and bars, and close to metro stops, markets, and wine shops. It was ok, but we were expecting more (basic amenities to work/function), since the photos were so appealing and the description was so inviting.
