Doors' open and arms' akimbo when next you jump over the big puddle! It was a pleasure to have you and Georgia under my cottage roof. Best to you both. (Watson sends his warm and woofish regards!)

Very basic but ok for a short stay

Response from Susan:
The reviewer did not actually stay in the cottage, rather he booked it for two others who did. Given that he didn't have the benefit of actually being there, I would challenge his characterization of the cottage being "very basic." It is far from basic, loaded as it is with commodious furnishings, fine art, sculptures and books. It is well equipped for work or pleasure with two antique desks and a long mounted desk in the second bedroom, cable, wireless, five sofas, a well-equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and dishwasher, food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer, blender, toaster, coffee maker, a basket of helpful and specialty items for the guests including popcorn and tea, bathrooms equipped with all toiletries, new towels, sheets and duvets. I am brand new to airbnb and this was our first booking. We were not striving for "very basic," but rather went the extra mile to make it right. I invite you to see for yourself!

My husband is a retired professor and I am publisher of Joggling Board Press, an independent publishing company, focusing on books in the spirit of the South -- thus the surfeit of books in and about. We look forward to meeting you!
