Lantern Cottage Garden Studio is a picturesque detached studio in our garden with its own private entrance. Situated in the High Weald, Broadoak Brede is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by stunning woodland and only four miles from the historic Cinque Port town of Rye. Just a short drive away are the spectacular beaches of Camber Sands, Winchelsea Beach and Hastings. Other places of interest nearby are Battle ( the 1066 battle field), Camber castle and the stunning Bodiam castle.

The Garden Studio is a good sized room with a double bed, separate seating space, kitchenette ( with fridge, toaster and kettle) and ensuite shower room. It has a Juliette balcony overlooking the garden area and fire pit which guests are able to use. A welcome basket is provided with goodies such as croissants, bread, jam and butter so that guests can enjoy breakfast at their leisure.

Parking and entrance
Guests have their own private parking space and if we are unable to be in at your arrival time, a key will be left in a key safe.

Use of Garden
Guests have access to the Garden next to the studio with a table and chairs. There is a lovely rustic fire pit area and if guests would like to use this then wood and marshmallows can be provided.

Children
The studio has one double bed, however if a child is staying then a camp bed can be provided.

Dogs
Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. However, please be aware that there is a road in front of the house so please ensure the front gate is securely closed.

Please note that this is a no smoking property.

Unfortunately, due to steps into the property, this is not suitable for people with mobility problems or wheelchairs.

What a place! A 10 minus drive from Rye and a comfy and hospitable bolt hole this is. Beautifully app knows and the bonus of breakfast items and is within a mile of an maxing brewery offering great beer, wine and food! What could be finer!

Ideal place to stop over on your way to the Eurotunnel or Dover. A lovely breezy walk on Romney marsh. Also would recommend the fish restaurant in Rye - Webbs. One of the best meals we have had for ages .
