This chocolate box cottage, reminiscent of Nancy Meyer's 2006 hit romcom film 'The Holiday' radiates pure rustic romance. Damson Cottage sits nestled on the edge of a small courtyard of fairytale cottages just outside of Wadebridge in North Cornwall this couple's retreat will call to those who wish to find themselves centrally located to explore all the hidden gems that Cornwall has to offer; and also to those whose idea of a romantic break is sliding into a deep copper roll top bath bubbling over with enriching natural oils, before drying off fire-side. With its very own magical wood fired hot tub and sauna room there's only one thing left to do...book in our fabulous wellbeing therapist for any one of her signature 'at home treatments', whether it be a manicure to get ready for a special supper, or a couples massage to enjoy some blissful pamper time with your loved one. Rusticity reigns inside this charming cottage. From the rough sawn timber clad walls to the reclaimed industrial pendant lighting, however no element of luxury has been compromised. Enjoy long entwined lie-ins in your partner's embrace in the kingsize bed adorned with heavy linens, or indulge in a long self satisfying soak in the copper bath tub enjoying all of the associated and well documented health and restorative benefits that go with it before washing off under the large rainfall shower.
A substantial boot room makes bringing your fury friends a real breeze, and helps to encourage a simple life break- pull on your walking boots and wellies and submerse yourself in the beautiful Cornish countryside that surrounds you.

Neighbourhood highlights
We are located just ten minutes off the A30. A short way to the north-west Padstow is home to an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a popular cycle trail, the camel trail which you can also access from within a 10 minute cycle of the property. Fans of Doc Martin will be drawn to nearby Port Isaac where the TV series is filmed and award winning restaurants are a plenty. The villages of Rock and Polzeath are also close to hand and well worth a visit, and further down the coast is Newquay, with its fantastic beaches and surfing opportunities. An afternoon spent exploring Cardinham Woods is a must for cyclists, Bodmin Moor offers some fantastic walking terrain, and the National Trust property Lanhydrock House is just a short drive away. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub, restaurant 3 miles.
