Rustic cottage -over one hundred years old- on an acre within EASY walking distance to Fair Haven State Park. Enjoy walking to the pier, playground, beach and concessions without having to pay a State Park Fee. We have had our annual family reunion at our cottage for generations, and are now sharing it for others to enjoy.

Ample room for simultaneous parking and playing, the lot is semi-private with a bay view through the western trees and a lawn shared on one side by another cottage.

The space
This is a summer cottage, uninsulated and without heat or a/c. There is a fully equipped kitchen

What our cottage lacks in amenities, it makes up in charm, history and location. Sharing our cottage with you makes it possible for us to keep it in the family and continue enjoying this very special place. You'll see family photos, artwork and history around the cottage, as it is impossible to eliminte over a hundred years of history in the family. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The drawbacks:
-No paved driveway- parking is on the grass/front lawn
-While the cottage features privacy on three sides, The Sleeping Porch faces another family-owned airbnb.

The pros:
-Location, location, LOCATION- walk to Fair Haven state park as much as you wish, as many times a day as you like.
-Can accommodate a large group of people.
-Working fireplace (you provide wood- many local places to purchase)
-Trees between the road and the cottage give it a private feeling. One side faces the street, one the woods, one the bay, and one the cottage next door.
