Hilo and Kona are a beautiful short drive away with much to see on the way.
This is a prime location for cycling enthusiasts. When you open the door to your room, you will see a field of green tea plants across the way at the tea farm.

The off the grid room has solar powered lights and a solar generator for charging your mobile devices. Experience outdoor shower under the stars with running hot water and covered camping style toilet with no odor. The Hawaiian style outdoor kitchen provides camping style cooking with a sink with cold running water, a gas BBQ with side burner, a large polar cooler. We also provide plates, cups, flatware, pots and pans and cooking utensils. We also have available beach towels, snorkel gear and Boogie boad.

We are also located in an area with the best cycling on the island. Perfect location if you are a cyclist. As we are located in the hills above honokaa, a vehicle is a must. We are 5 min drive to Honokaa town and 20 min drive to Waimea. We are very centrally located half way between Kona and Hilo. We are only 40 min from Mauna Kea visitor center, a must see when visiting the Big Island. We have plenty of local recommendations to share with our guests.

There are no street lights in the area, so it is very dark at night. It may be a challenge to find us at night for the first time.
