Lives in England, United Kingdom
We are tentatively retired! Having lived in this beautiful part of the UK for many years we thought we'd like to give others a chance to enjoy it! We have a lot of fun with our horses, motorbike and dogs & until recently a Morris Minor Convertible that we owned for over 40 years! We thoroughly enjoy the great food available locally - both to buy and cook and to enjoy in local pubs & are a very food orientated family! Chipping Norton, our local "town" has a fabulous little Theatre (& part time cinema), Michael MacIntyre has performed there several times and the Christmas Panto is the stuff of legends! Oxford, Cheltenham, Stratford on Avon and Cirencester are all within 45 minutes drive and the RSC is well worth a visit as are the many gorgeous National Trust properties locally. We've both travelled a fair bit - Anne with her TV job (Granada and the BBC) and then both of us latterly with our import business - many trips to Hong Kong which we loved. We're very proud of our area and more than happy to discuss itineraries and ideas with anyone coming to stay with us.
