Stunning first floor apartment in the historic Riddle's Court, on the Lawnmarket, at the top of the Royal Mile, only 100 m from the entrance to the Castle and close to all the main tourist attractions. The property is beautifully furnished and equipped and especially suitable for families or couples visiting Edinburgh.

The space

Access to the apartment is through Riddle's Close, one of the traditional "closes" or passageways leading off the Royal Mile and through to Riddle's Court, a beautiful sixteenth century Merchant House with a rich history. The apartment is on the first floor, accessed from a short flight of stairs to its private balcony and entrance.
Within the property there is a large studio room to the front looking over the Lawnmarket, the top of the famous Royal Mile. There is a comfortable sitting area with a cosy living flame fire. There is a very well equipped kitchen with laundry facilities and a dining area for four, within this room there is a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. To the rear there is a separate bedroom with bunk beds, this looks over the historic courtyard.
There is a very attractive bathroom which includes a shower over the bath. .

Guest access

The entire property is available to our guests, there is free wi-fi, full gas central heating. Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided, there is a shaving point and a hair dryer. With such a central location, there is no on street parking, however at most times access is available for drop off. A number of city centre car parks are very close by, or we can advise on the nearest free parking. The apartment is a short walk up from Waverley Train Station and the Tram Stop on Princes Street and is well served by public transport.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location. Angie is the perfect host and went out of her way to make sure we arrived with no problems. The welcome pack of beer, butter, bread etc was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a completely charming apartment in a fantastic location right in the heart of Edinburgh, two minutes from the castle. Very close to many tourist attractions and shops. My teenage daughter loved it! Minor downside is possible noise from the busy street in the late evening, but really that's to be expected if you're right in the heart of the city. Its the sound of people having a good time, so there's nothing wrong with that. The flat was clean, stylish and well equipped, with lovely fresh towels which I wasn't expecting, I'd packed my own. Angie the host was very helpful and friendly. Lovely stay, I'd definitely book again.

Absolutely lovely flat in a fantastically central location. Hosts were brilliant and went above and beyond to accommodate our arrival and departure times. Really appreciated the milk and bread and other homely touches left for us. An excellent stay in a brilliant city.

This is a great place for a family of four to stay for a weekend city break. It's a fabulously central location with interesting history. We were welcomed by Max and the little extras like milk in the fridge etc. were much appreciated.
