We are disappointed by Kalle and Sirpa’s comments. Before leaving them in the apartment we clarified that if they had any issues at all to contact us as we live locally. Rather than contact us to discuss the issues, that they allege, they chose not to. We cannot rectify issues if we do not know they exist.
Strong odour carpet and floors. Firstly, we do not have carpets. Secondly, the floors were cleaned just prior to their arrival – vacuumed and then washed. Other than the liberal use of disinfectant (Spa from Mercadona) we are at a loss to understand what the "odour" would have been. I do not know how it could be inferred that the floors were somehow unclean. They chose to wash the floor rather than contacting us to do this. This was a choice they made.
We are unsure what is meant by poor quality cookware. Particularly the unnecessary and unhelpful comment “unusable frying pan”. What does this mean? Sirpa checked the pan drawer while we were there – we appreciate she would not have had time to use the items. However, if an issue occurred later, and they wished it rectified, they could have contacted us. They chose not to.
We do not know what the “unstable body” of the beds refers to but will check this out.
We have had many clients throughout the summer and autumn of 2017 and not one of them made any such claims as to the cleanliness or poor facilities provided.
We are disappointed that Kalle and Sirpa, who we believed to have enjoyed their stay in our apartment, felt the need to leave such negative feedback on a public forum rather than contact us to resolve any issues they felt they experienced. Their comments were upsetting to read as they could have been readily resolved, if required, had we been made aware of them.
