A stylish and peaceful riverside hotel room in a field! A rural idyllic getaway just 10 minutes from j26 of the M5.

Check out our other getaway retreat ‘Sunset Shepherds hut’.

The space
There is plenty of outside space to pitch a tent if you wanted to bring the kids along too! The pod only sleeps 2 but any extra guests can pitch up outside it.

Guest access
The Pod is set within a working equestrian centre so we ask guests to be quiet and respectful around the stable yard area.

Please feel free to walk around the 6 acre field the pod is located in.

There is a great walk just across the river on a public footpath which follows the river tone for a good 2 miles. If you don't fancy braving the river crossing you can walk into the village and access it that way.

Other things to note
The TV in the pod only plays dvds. There is no cutlery, fridge or freezer in the pod only a fire pit outside to cook on but please bring your own cutlery etc.

Sometimes part of the field does get muddy so welly boots would be useful to have here! Guests can park next to the pod in the field if its dry enough. If not its only a short walk from the car park bay. We can offer a Landrover shuttle to the pod with your luggage if the weather isn't being kind.

Unfortunately there are no cooking facilities other than the outside fire pit. Our local pub 'The White Horse inn' is only a ten minute walk/2min drive away and does good food until 9pm.

Flip flops would be worth packing for getting to and from the shower room.

Bring warm clothes for the colder times of the year!

We hold horse riding lessons throughout the week so please let us know if this would be of interest.
We also have stables available if guests want to bring their horse or pony along with them!

***WINTER BOOKINGS***
Please note although the pod has a small heater inside the toilet and shower shed does not. It will be cold going to and from the pod to the shower and loo so please bring warm clothes and appropriate footwear. If the weather does drop below freezing the water has been known to freeze in the pipes occasionally stopping the use of the shower and taps.
A few additional blankets will be worth bringing for those that really feel the cold!
We are happy to let the pod out through the winter but please be aware it’s not as warm as a house with central heating and is most ideal in the warmer months to make use of the outside area.
