As we explained to you multiple times, the appartment you were at had a major electricity problem that was beyond our control. We did everything we could to fix the issue in order to let you in the apartment. As soon as we understood that the problem wasn't local and the entire building was shut down, we noticed you and tried to find another location that was similar to the apartment. Unfortunatly, no one was available. We kindly suggested that the better for you were to cancel the reservation, in order for you to be full refunded and to choose another place that fits your expectations. You refused, saying that you'll accept what ever was free. We organised at the last minute an apartment for you, we warned you that this apartment was free only for two nights and after that you'll have to make a reservation somewhere else, we offered you those two free nights for a way bigger appartment, and we payed the taxi's free, we've sent one of our agent a major part of the day to show you the new apartment. Then, you were perfectly aware that you couldn't stay more than two days in the apartment but you acted like we were trying to kick you out. You were perfectly aware that the cleaning lady had to enter the apartment and you choose to act like you were not aware of it. You choose to ignore my calls. We did advised you severall time that because of the electricy problem, the situation was a little bit out of control and we've let you many choices. We even had to relocate a group of guest in order to let you guys enjoy the apartment.
I'm completly aware of the fact that this kind of issue isn't pleasant, but it's not for the host either. This incident was exeptional and it's almost impossible for the host to make the guest feel better, even when you offer solutions and spent time and energy trying to make it acceptable for everyone.
What's unfair is to do so much for your guest to have a pleasant time despite a technical issue that you have no control of, and to see that what ever you could have done would have not change a thing is a very unpleasant end for me. Best regards
