About this listing

HOT SPA, COMPLETE PRIVACY, RELAX IN THE QUIET OF OUR LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE.

We live on a small farm with sheep, chickens and huge vegie garden yet we're only 15 minutes from the beach and enjoy all the amazing Mornington Peninsula has to offer. It's a shame to keep it to ourselves. Welcome to our little piece of paradise.

The space

We have 2 lovely rooms with queen size beds in a separate house wing on a picturesque 20 acre hobby farm. They are listed separately as Farmstay in Moorooduc-Classic Room and Farmstay in Moorooduc-Garden Room. Both have wardrobe space and have heating/cooling. The Classic Room is carpeted and the Garden Room has a floating floor. We are an allergy conscious family and both doonas are non-allergenic.

The house is nestled into a beautiful garden which has been featured in Open Gardens Australia and we have a lovely indoor/outdoor spa with private courtyard and lounge area which is your area to enjoy while you are here. Tea and coffee facilities are provided. We provide breakfast of muesli, fruit, toast and spreads and are happy to cater for special dietary requirements.

You can also enjoy our wetland area with nature walk and picnic and campfire area.

On our property we have very interesting suffolk sheep with black heads and black feet. We also have chooks that provide us with lots of fresh eggs and a big vegetable garden that, in season, provides us with nearly all our needs. There's nothing like a freshly picked ripe tomato!

Our property is situated between the Peninsula's 2 Antique hot spots, "The Bottom Drawer Antique Centre" and "Tyabb Packing House"
Mornington is only 10 minutes away and offers plenty of choice in restaurants, cafes and boutique shopping; and the Peninsula's galleries, wineries, golf courses, hot springs and beaches are so close, you will most likely spend your day exploring all they have to offer and come home to flop into your nice comfy bed. We're happy to help you plan your day and assist where possible.

You do need a car to get here as there is no public transport. We are, however, very close to Peninsula Link so we are easy to find.

We look forward to hosting you soon.

Other things to note

You will generally have the whole end of the house to yourself but as it's still part of our home we will need to get things from there from time to time.

Annette and Martin provided such a wonderfully relaxing and nurturing environment with a sumptuous bedroom a super cosy lounge room full of daylight and a wood stove for those chilly nights in. Plus a luxurious spa! It's the perfect place for anyone to relax and rejuvenate in.

My husband and I stayed over a long weekend and had a lovely relaxed time. The room is beautiful and the breakfast which was provided was AMAZING! Annette and Martin are lovely and always ensured the fire was ready to go which was great after a soak in the spa. A great quiet area, can't wait to return!

Amazing quality and a beautiful property. We went spotlighting in the evening and saw a squirrel glider on the premises which was wonderful. Beautiful breakfast provided and the spa was glorious. Highly recommended, thank you for my stay!

Response from Annette And Martin:
Our apologies Mandy. We normally close our blinds much earlier in the night for exactly that reason. Sorry you felt uncomfortable. All the best. Annette

My partner and I were escaping Melbourne for the long weekend and were looking for a quiet base we could explore Mornington Peninsula from. We found that, and so much more at this farmstay. This spot is something special... we LOVED the two nights we spent at Annette and Martin's place. The house and gardens are beautiful and very private. Breakfast each day was delicious and we really enjoyed spending time in their warm spa room (Annette always had the fire on for us). We were sad to leave, but headed back home feeling very relaxed. Definitely recommended and we hope to be back

We stayed here after our backyard reception on our wedding night. We had the back section of the house to ourselves, which was clean and beautifully decorated with a freshly renovated bathroom. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. we only saw Annette for a few moments as we were leaving and she was as lovely then as in our communication leading up to our stay.

We have 4 married sons and 4 wonderful daughters in law and are now granparents.

Martin and I live on a beautiful 20 acre property in Moorooduc where we have raised our family and created our own little slice of paradise.

We believe that when you have something beautiful you enjoy it more when you share it with others. When we married we dreamed of having a farm where people could come and stay and experience farm life and although we don't have a big farm we can still share what we have.

We love the discovery of travel, meeting people and hearing other peoples' adventures. Maybe you have one to share.......
