Beautiful views and comfort await! Enjoy the home away from home experience, luxury camping at its finest, woods in the back yard! We're near Trough Creek State park, Lake Raystown & Resort, Juniata College, East Broadtop Railroad, state game lands & surrounding areas with many sightseeing attractions of things to see and do! We are great central location where it's quick, easy and convenient to get to many areas and also have many conveniences nearby! Both vacation and getaway fun located here!

The space
We create the atmosphere, you create the memories! There is a very large parking lot for trucks, boats n trailers, and additional parking, the double bay garage can also be used for cars n SUV's for convenient parking and unloading. Back deck w/ propane fire pit, we have butt buckets outside to smoke, use of picnic pavilion which has a portable firepit so that you can make smores, roast hot dogs, and make mountain pies, propane grill, the fireplace is for candles only but also very nice, comfortable and cozy. Inside full kitchen upstairs w/everything you need; stove, fridge w/ ice machine and water, microwave, dish washer and coffee pot. Dimmer switches on most lights adds to the cozy atmosphere, all bedrooms have ceiling fan/light. Laundry room, Towels, blankets, pillows ( extra of all of them) and luxury bedding included! Central air and heat! The upstairs bathroom has a shower on one side w/ a bench seat and a handheld shower sprayer on the other side! We have 5 beds. 3 bedrooms, but the other spaces are private sections so it's like 5 rooms all beds have double pillow top mattresses! Wifi guest use, desk area, DVD player w/many movies to choose from both upstairs and downstairs in hang out areas, smart TV's for streaming, a 60 game arcade game w/free play, cornhole, yard Yahtzee, n some just like to sit outside and read a book n take it all in, or go sight seeing our beautiful area! :)

Other things to note
There are stores not far to pick things up, if you prefer and some nearby for quick need necessities! If you don't want to cook, I have menus at the house, you can call and order for pick up or go out to eat w/ places very nearby! NEW, Grab and go Gas station, food, snacks, specials, quick convenience type items, specialty coffee and kids love the frozen hot chocolate, very large n delicious whoopie pies and more! Our Cassville Country Store, also makes delicious Stromboli’s, pizza, subs, foods and specials at their restaurant also w/ firewood, ice, hardware, a convenience store and sit down restaurant w/ ice cream or order for take out as well, you all can go out to eat for breakfast , lunch, dinner, snacks and something our guests prefer so very nice and convenient esp. after a long travel! During your stay you won’t have to drive very far and also enjoy our vacation home with its beautiful yard, landscaping n comforts! YOU WILL LOVE THE COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE! We also suggest that you bring a pair of slip on type shoes such as slippers, flip flops or thick socks for the downstairs basement floor is cool and more convenient for going in and out, but so excellent during the hot summer months to hang out inside or outside to enjoy our beautiful yard and pavilion areas! :)

Friendly, relaxing, quiet and comfortable area with many conveniences nearby within 2 minutes we have 2 small stores w/ restaurants, food, snacks( call ahead for take out even if u prefer) , ice, firewood, gas station, playground, garage, etc. , we are a great central location to many areas and things so not far! All near by so makes it extra nice so u don’t have to spend most of your time riding n driving, quick commute for more enjoyment time and beautiful scenery along the way for a pretty ride, we have a road to take a walk or a ride in the country as well called dirt mountain road that some guests have enjoyed as well! :)

I was born and raised in Huntingdon County! Raystown's Rustic homestead has always been a dream for me! I like to travel some myself so comfort, beauty, and atmosphere were the main goals n what I wanted to pass on to our guests! The decorating of RRH is my taste n my style also one of my favorite things to do! My husband Mike helps w/ it and also my co-host Shyanne both very informed, and the other daughter helps clean so we are a family run business!
