This comfortable home is located in the village of la Candelaria in Coyoacán. It's very bright with a beautiful view from the windows. It has a lounge, kitchen/dining room and a large bedroom. It is just steps from Huayamilpas Ecological Park, La Quiñonera Cultural House and Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum. The listing is located in the quiet town of Candelaria which is one of the most popular and interesting neighborhoods of Coyoacán for travelers who don't just want to know the tourist side of Mexico. It is a typical town that was immersed in the modern city, with its church and little streets outlined, even with its public laundries that are still in use. On February 2 the little virgin of Candelaria is celebrated, the patron saint of the village and the people go to church to bless their "God children" dressed in beautiful attire. Families delight in tamales and atolls to celebrate; in addition to what there is a fair and fireworks with the village gang doing processions with people. The strange mixture of town and city gives a very particular and interesting character to the place. Coming to this neighborhood gives visitors a better sense of what it's like to live with Mexicans in great Mexico City, it's safe and very familiar.
