Kim was a great host. Communication was first rate at all stages - while booking, leading up to, and during our stay - and she was very accommodating. Kim's home was exactly as described and just what we were looking for. Very homely with large spacious rooms and fully equipped with everything you would need. Both bedrooms had large, comfortable beds; the living area has a large TV and a spacious dining area with table and chairs; the kitchen was fully stocked with essentials and we were able to cook for our family of 4. The neighbourhood of Glen Park is just outside central SF (only 4 or 5 stops in the BART to downtown, financial district etc) but feels a world away. It has the feel of a small town with its own small Main Street with a nice market, coffee shops etc. There is also a larger Safeway supermarket 10 minutes walk in the other direction. The BART station is around 10 mins walk away so very easy to get downtown and to all of the sights. There are also buses that will take you to other parts of SF including the Castro and Golden Gate park. Glen Park is also very close to Noe Valley which is a very nice, upmarket neighbourhood with great shops, cafes, restaurants etc, which in-turn is walking distance to Mission and Delores park which are all great places to explore. The area is very hilly so a car is highly recommended, particularly if you have young children and a stroller etc. The hills will test even the most seasoned hikers!

We had a great experience staying at Kimberley's house. Everything was as described in the listing. The place was very clean and Kim was very welcoming, leaving out wine glasses and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived. The neighborhood is very quiet and appears to be very safe. The house is conveniently located near I-280 and 101 so getting around town by car is very easy. It is also near to bus lines and BART if you are using public transportation, but the walk is fairly hilly, as should be expected in San Francisco. We really didn't experience anything negative about our stay at all, so I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in San Francisco.

Kimberly is a great host. She is really helpful and thoughtful and we highly appreciate everything she did for us. Thanks a lot Kimberly!!! We will come back soon. We have enjoyed a lot our visit. The house is lovely. It is a big house, very clean, comfortable and with all the services you can imagine. Kimberly also prepared some welcome gifts for us and a lot of information about the house and the city to better prepare out visits. It has been a lovely time!! I love living in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I've traveled as a poor student staying in youth hostels and as a deluxe traveler staying in 5 star hotels and everything in between. I got the travel bug after being a foreign exchange student - living and studing in Norway. Later I worked a summer in Switzerland and attended the Sorbonne in Paris, France for a few years. I got into the travel industry and have traveled extensively throughout the world, yet there are plenty of places on my yet to see list. I am a frequent traveler, speak French, Norwegian as well as some German. I like jazz, swimming, walking in the area, museums, galleries and parks. I like to visit France and also travel to Mexico and Hawaii for sun. My most recent leisure trip were trips to Lisbon and Paris, and before that to Barcelona and to India. I enjoy cooking and love to visit local farmers markets. Given the chance, the time and budget, I travel! Much more to see and experience in this beautiful world. I'd love to share my comfortable home with you and to have you stay here during your visit. I try to make it comfortable, easy and simple - well stocked in what is essential, but avoid the extras that make the home feel too busy.

As a host, I will offer to help you find interesting things to do in the City and Bay Area and to make your stay here enjoyable. I strive to give my home the graceful ease of comfort, convenience and luxury. I remodeled the bathroom and it is lovely and modern. The guest room has its own access to the backyard deck, chairs and a perfect place for coffee and tranquility here in the city. A few blocks walk to the BART station in Glen Park and you are most anywhere you want to be in no time. I am adaptable and flexible and it is important to me that you enjoy your stay here!
