It's a very nice place. We have 6 persons and stay for 8 nights, sleep very well. We enjoy to stay at home for cooking and gathering. Clean, and just same as the photo shown. So amazing that we can watch the northern light at the back yard, we all crazy at that moment. Thanks Asta for alerting us about the northern light. Even the location is not exactly at the down town, need around 20 mins walk, but we think it's a nice place to stay in Reykjavik.

Asta's house was perfect for our group. We are 4 adults and 3 kids. It was great to all be in a house together and be able to play games at the table in the evenings. The home is very centrally located and was a great home base for our stay in Iceland. The kids loved being able to walk the short distance to the bakery in the morning and to the local hot spring pool at the end of each day. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Thanks Asta!

The heated floors were amazing. It was a cozy little place. A little pricey - but everything in Iceland is. We couldn't figure out how to lock the front door - which would be my only negative.

This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our one week stay in Iceland. It is in a wonderful location and served as a great home base for all of our day trips to different places in Iceland. The decorations are beautiful and the house is spacious. The grocery store is very close by which was great. There were four of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The heated floors, large bathtub and fireplace were also a great touch. Asta even provided us with a "Duraflame" log for our first night. Asta was very accommodating and responded quickly with any questions we had. She allowed us to check-in early and check-out late due to the timing of our flights. On our first day the hose in the shower was leaking and Asta was there the next day to have it fixed. I would highly recommend this house and would love to stay again. Future guests should know that there is only one queen size bed and four small beds. We had two couples so we had to push some beds together to make another queen bed. Either way we loved our stay.

This house is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in Iceland. Having the ability to live like a local in one of the very beautiful, blue tinned homes - I loved walking to the fish market down the road and cooking up some Salmon on the high end cooking stove, whilst watching snow fall through the window. - LOVE it. This is a super Vibey place!

We had a great time in Asta's home, it was comfy and welcoming. We even got to see the northern lights but shame there was no snow!!! But overall we had a five star trip. Thank you Asta and family.

Asta's home was the perfect base for our family vacation in Iceland. Her home accommodated our group of seven perfectly with the best amenities to make our stay wonderful - especially the heated floors, fireplace, huge bathtub, well stocked kitchen, convenient location, and seated hammocks to boot! Thank you for making our family reunion very special!
