The space
Our classical house from 1836 is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Bergen, Nordnes. There are lots of postcards with this house on it!

The apartment has four rooms: bedroom, living/dining room, kitchen and heated bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed, and the sofa in the living room can be made into a double bed as well.

The apartment is situated on the ground floor of the house, but it is so high up that you won't see the people passing by in the street. There are four more small apartments in the house.

The house is situated in the historic Klosteret area of Nordnes, surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets, plants, cats, parks and cafés. Feel free to use one of the benches right outside in the street to have lunch outside, to read a book or to talk to our wonderful neighbors.

Guest access
The entire apartment will be at your disposal, and yours only.

We have some benches outside in the street that we like to use when the weather is nice. I hope you will feel like home and use them, you too, if you would like to! This is a good way to get to know both two and four-legged neighbours.

Other things to note
Even though this house isn't in one of the steepest areas of Bergen, it is in an old part of the city with narrow cobblestone streets. Some streets might feel steep if you are not used to walking, so please be careful!

Where you’ll be

Bergenhus, Hordaland, Norway

Nordnes is a picturesque peninsula and neighbourhood in the city centre of Bergen. The main square downtown is only a 10 minute walk away, yet this historic neighborhood feels like its own little world with its narrow cobblestone streets, wooden houses and parks. The area is mostly residential, but it has some restaurants, bars, grocery stores and cafes, in addition to the aquarium and Nordnes park on the tip of the peninsula.

Less than five minutes in walking distance from the house, you will find Nordnes Sjøbad, a outdoors swimming facility with heated pools and the possibility of taking a swim directly in the fjord.

The atmosphere in our small street is what makes this house so special! Thanks to wonderful neighbors who have lived here for a long time, we try to take good care of our street, and the plants, cats and people who live in it. If the weather is nice, you will most likely see someone outside their house drinking their morning coffee or taking care of their plants.
