A historical home with character in the oldest residential street in South Africa. The house has two bedrooms - room #2 and room #1 - a living area, a library, a dining and kitchen area, a patio and garden. A bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet with basin are shared between the two guest rooms.
The owners of the house, Colleen & Walter are living here and have their own private space upstairs in the attic.
There is a third guest room available - room #3 - a smallish but cosy garden cottage room with en-suite shower/bath.
You are free to make use of our space - kitchen, dining area, living area, library, patio and garden.
Interaction with guests
We are available for our guests, especially in the morning during breakfast time.
Other things to note
Breakfast is included and can be adjusted to particular dietary requirements.
We are a vegetarian household.
If you need transportation from Cape Town or the airport, Uber covers the area at reasonable rates.
Free on-street parking in front of the house or in a secure compound behind the property.
You will be given your own keys and may come and go as you please. No smoking inside your room or the house, but outside by all means, subject to other guests' possible concern. There are no further rules. We are happy to share our home with you.
