Woodlea apartment is a stylish self contained flat occupying the whole top floor of a magnificent country house located a mile from the conservation village of Moniaive. There are wonderful views over the extensive gardens to the fields and hills beyond. Guests are welcome to relax in the beautiful gardens or even enjoy a fun game of tennis on our slightly wobbly tennis court.

The space
The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Each of these rooms has it’s own en-suite bathroom facilities, and so would suit up to four guests. The space is suitable for two couples or a family. We have a travel cot for very young guests. Both the rooms have satellite TVs and wireless internet, and there is a well stocked games cupboard and bookshelves.
There is also a large fully equipped kitchen and a shared laundry room if you get a little muddy. Guests have their own separate entrance at the rear of the property.

Where you’ll be

Dumfriesshire, Scotland, United Kingdom

The festival village of Moniaive, described by BBC’s Countryfile as the “jewel in the crown of Dumfries & Galloway” is renowned for it’s vibrant arts community, and hosts many events including music festivals, live theatre, cinema screenings and exhibitions. It has two excellent pubs, a well stocked village shop and post office, a popular Italian restaurant, a garage & petrol station and a tea room serving lunches & snacks. In September 2021 it was listed by The Sunday Times as one of the best villages to visit in Scotland.
