The space

Room is *huge* with a comfortable vibe! Queen size, brand-new memory foam mattress with gel top is very firm, not like a hotel or soft mattress.

Wireless Internet, own bathroom, queen bed, exposed brick, softwood floors, desk, small chaise lounge (not large enough for sleeping), dresser.

Amenities available (please ask): Ironing board, iron, makeup mirror, wedge pillow, Stram folding bed.

Guest access

Dining room, kitchen fridge and microwave, spectacular roof deck.

Interaction with guests

Flexible interaction with guests! I work in a home office, so I have some deadlines to meet, but I can take breaks and act as a "concierge" to be helpful to you as you plan your day.

Jeanette is a really great host - very warm and accommodating. She helped me get settled in along with her friendly and charming pets! She even kindly invited me to join her for dinner on two occasions which speaks to her generosity and warm heart! The room itself was very big and clean with everything I could need. Thank you! Jeannette was one of the most helpful hosts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Extremely welcoming, and from the first minute I stepped in, after just arriving in Baltimore for the first time, she was able to provide me with all the information I needed to settle into the city. Jeannette always made time for me at any point of the day, and helped me to scour housing options and target my housing search, and even helped link me with accommodating members of the neighbourhood through her networks. It was also great to be able to have wonderful discussions about everything and anything, including cultures from all over the world - she is full of great stories. The room itself is pretty huge - the photos don’t do it justice, and it's very comfortable. Internet is fast too! There is also a beautiful rooftop deck to enjoy the sunset on at the end of the day. Of course, this is a safe and secure place to stay in a great neighbourhood, and I will definitely be visiting Jeannette sometime again in the future. Highly recommend!

I had a very comfortable stay at Jeanette's place. The room was fairly large and had its own bathroom. Walking distance to the hotel district was about 30-35 minutes, perhaps 10 minutes to restaurants and bars in Fells Point, which is very nice. You do need to accept cats and dogs that are in the house, but they were fine and didn't bother me at all.

Jeannette was a great host. Very helpful with local tips. Place is ideally located being only a short walk to the waterfront and restaurants. The room is great.

I loved staying at Jeannette's! I felt so welcomed. Jeannette and her housemate Tim, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable during my time in Baltimore. Thanks for having me!

Jeannete's place was in a perfect location for me since I was going to Johns Hopkins but at the same time I was able to do some walking tourism to the waterfront at fells point. Her place is very clean, the Vivaldi suite is huge and private and it was full of thought touches in case you left anything at home. I would definitely stay here again.

Jeannette's room is in a great location (upper Fells Point, cute street, we didn't have any problem with parking), and it's comfortable, huge, and clean. She's also extremely welcoming and friendly! I was pretty familiar with Baltimore, but I think that she'd probably have tons of ideas if you weren't. Internet is fast enough for streaming, and check in is a breeze. Two friendly cats.
