Where you’ll be

Looe, Cornwall, United Kingdom

Looe is in fact two towns separated by a river. East Looe is centred around a sandy beach and it is where you will find a plethora of traditional pubs and excellent restaurants at a very affordable price. West Looe, on the other side of the river and where the flat is located, clings to the steep landscape like a collection of Cornish limpets.
Looe & nearby Polperro are fishing villages with active fleets and thriving fish markets.
Out of season these towns are a great choice if you seek picturesque, quaint, relaxed and friendly.
For the sport fanatics, there are plenty of activities such as surfing, kayaking, trecking, trail running and cycling.
Pubs, try the Jolly Sailor in West Looe.
Quiet remote bays, experience Lantic and Whitsand bays.

Thanks for visiting my page. I am Mike, from Surrey. I work as a Project Manager in a consulting company in Ealing, and I escape to Looe for some great weekends and holidays. I am very much into outdoors activities and this is why Looe is perfect for me. I love horse riding, bike riding, walk the coastal paths, occasionally take it to a run, swim when it isn't too cold. This year, I am taking up surfing, rowing and possibly as a way to relax and rest. I like the fact that Looe caters for different types of visitors, having the town beach ideally located for families but also isolated gorgeous bays with treacherous access which guarantees you a quiet time. I also love good food, nice drinks in traditional pubs and these are so easy to find here. The local fishing harbour provides restaurants with an endless supply of fish and sea food, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable.
