Priors Mesne Coach House is a converted loft barn space romantically located on a secluded farm estate, half a mile down a lime tree avenue and 100 yards from the main house. Breathtaking views over the Severn it is the perfect get away for a couple (plus dog) with easy access to walking and cycling in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean or canoeing on the Wye. Dog walking and a picnic table are available in the adjacent field and there is a boules pitch with small terrace and seating.

The space
The Coach House living space is located on the first floor accessed by an external stone staircase. The accommodation is open plan with far reaching views over the estuary. A cosy sitting room area equipped with log burner TV DVD and a large sofa and daybed. There is a candle lit dining table adjacent to a king size bed in the sleeping area with another TV and DVD. Micro kitchen for cooking, heating small meals with oven, sink, 2 hobs, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and kitchen utensils, cutlery, plates etc. There is a separate bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.

Other things to note
There are long walks from the house as the Gloucestershire Way runs along the wood above.
We provide in the kitchen some bread, milk, eggs, filter and instant coffee, tea and sugar for your arrival as well as a basket of logs and kindling. More logs can be bought at the petrol station on the A48 in Alvington.
