We had a lovely stay at Cheri's place. We liked the remoteness. It was very clean, secure, and the bed was comfortable. She set us up with Jose to see the whales and it was our best trip ever with lots of contact with the baby whales. Exquisite!

Sheri was very helpful & friendly. She set us up with Jose for two incredible whale watching trips! The casita was adequate, however it was hard to regulate the water temperature in the shower.

We had a great stay at the Casita and local guide Jose took us out on two amazing trips to see the grey whales. We liked the lagoon of P. Adolfo López Mateos a lot better for whale watching than San Carlos. The whales were more plentiful, more interested in interacting (yes, we met one calf that insisted on being petted) and the water was calmer. Our first booked night did not work out because of an unexpected winter storm with torrential rain that had turned the dirt roads in town into mud holes. Cheri kindly contacted us in time so we could change our plans and stay at her place a few days later after the mud had dried again. We would totally book this place again if we do another trip to Baja California in the future.

Cheri knows a lot about the area and showed us around town on our arrival. She also set us up with José to go whale watching and we had a memorable morning with the whales. Thanks to both of them we had a most wonderful time in this tranquil little port.

Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Cheri could not have been more helpful. She toured us around the town and gave us recommendations on where to eat, even set us up for our whale watching tour which was amazing. Highly recommend if you are planning on visiting this area
