A stroll down the the road to Gunter Bros Meats will supply you with bacon and sausages. A beautiful bottle of artisan wine can be found a short walk away at Beaufort Winery. Any grocery items you might need are only a 5 minute drive away at the Courtenay Country Market; an idyllic, locally owned market that features country style fixtures, locally sourced produce and a small country style cafe.

The Cottonwoods, named for the massive Cottonwood trees on the property, deer are often strolling through the gardens, Kingfishers, Herons, Eagles, Canada Geese and Trumpeter Swans are also frequent visitors. You may even see the raccoons or the neighbourhood bear!
