Hi Charles, first of all, thank you for commending us on the spectacular view, comfort and cleanliness of the apartment. We've only had good reviews over the last 5 years, so your review is indeed very unsettling. I know apologising won't change your unfortunate experience, but I am sincerely sorry. The windows do need regular cleaning as the apartment is sea facing ... and our guests always inform us during long stays when it is necessary to clean the windows. Our guests may call us at any time with anything they need or are unsure of during their stay. The downstairs/ground floor office (body corporate) is unfortunately not there to service our guests, so it's always best to contact either myself (owner) or my manager with any requests. Unfortunately, we did not foresee the iron to blow up and I trust your father wasn't seriously injured. It has been replaced already and we thank you for bringing the faulty iron to our attention. Once again, I'm so sorry ... such a pity that you were frustrated. We will however continue to make our guests as comfortable as possible and accommodate them with any requests they may have.
