Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

The space
This is a perfect spot whether for business or pleasure. The room is accessed from an independent door and is a separate building. You’ll need to be able to climb stairs. We are within a beautiful village with plentiful walks and cosy local pubs. There is parking on the road or in a nearby close.
The kitchenette is basic, meals cannot be cooked from scratch as there is no hob or oven, but there is a microwave.

Other things to note
The village of Kintbury is a lovely rural village on the Kennet and Avon canal. Close to Newbury and on the train line to Reading and London. The A34 is close by giving good links to Southampton and Oxford. There are plenty of tourist hotspots within an hour's drive; including Highclere where 'Downton Abbey' was filmed.
