Enjoy the charm of historic downtown Lexington with a modern design. Located in the 600 block of West Main Street, located in the midst of downtown’s exciting renaissance, surrounded by both new and established commercial, retail, and entertainment.
Not far from where Lexington was established in 1782 on the banks of the
Town Branch of South Elkhorn Creek, is a fascinating new place to stay: the Newpast Town Lofts, which integrate the charm of historic downtown Lexington with the drama and convenience of modern design.
You will be saying in the master suite, it is up a stairway from the kitchen and has shaded, open-air balconies on both sides. You’ll love the airy feeling in this wonderful space.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the Newpast Town Lofts is the private, rooftop terrace that crowns each one making every unit feel like a penthouse. From there, the views of downtown are spectacular and
include the Henry Clay Monument, Rupp Arena, the Lexington Financial Center, Victorian Square, and the Hyatt Regency and Hilton hotels, all of which are within easy walking distance.
Interaction with guests
For this rental you would have the house to yourself, although this is our house we plan trips away when we have requests, a great way for us to go and visit another place!
Other things to note
The Newpast Town lofts have been built to be respectful of the environment and to the highest standards following the principles of the EarthCraft program. The Newpast Townlofts exceed the minimum requirements of this "green" building checklist that serves as a blueprint for healthy, comfortable, environmentally sustainable homes which reduce utility bills and protect their inhabitants as well as the environment.
Among the green aspects of the Newpast Town Lofts are the use throughout of sustainably manufactured materials, energy efficient systems, resource efficient building materials, geothermal heating and cooling, passive solar design techniques, and the addition of new specimen trees to maintain the existing wood on the property’s boundaries.
The house does come with our cat Penelope, she just does her own thing our guests always love having her around!
