The Beach Shack is a renovated house for families with a relaxed beach feel close to town and the beach. It has 3 bedrooms and a large secure yard perfect for your dog. 3 min walk to the beach and under 10 to town. Large open plan Living/ Dining/ Kitchen area plus a separate upstairs living.
We have a NO PARTY POLICY at the house and due to the number of past noise complaints from Neighbours, we can only only accept bookings from Families at this point in time.
BED LINEN - Please note that Bed Linen and Bath Towels are an extra charge of $20 per bed for the whole stay. This is left as cash for our cleaner to collect at Check Out and gives people the option to bring your own linen to keep costs down
DOGS - We do allow bookings with Dogs, however Busselton Shire Regulations prohibit dogs being left unattended at Short Term Rentals like this house. DO NOT bring your dog if your plan is to leave it unattended in the yard while you are out all day. We get numerous complaints from dogs left unattended and barking all day while guests are out enjoying their holiday. Council Rangers are now handing out fines for dogs left unattended also
Dogs are to stay outside and and please bring your Dog it's own bed so it does not use the outdoor couch as its bed. No evidence of your dog is to be left behind when you check out. Please clean the grass for Poo's also
The lowest fence is approx 4 feet tall if you are concerned about your dog being able to jump over and get out.
BEDDING CONFIGURATION
The downstairs bedroom has been changed recently to a Queen Room and the two bedrooms upstairs are now another Queen Room and the Single/Bunk Room. The upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase.
If a spiral staircase is a mobility issue for any of your group, the downstairs bedroom will be best.
Split system Air Conditioners are in both of the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs main living area. These easily warm or cool the house as required. A Pot belly stove is in living room and guests are required to provide their own fire wood if using the indoor fireplace. The cheapest firewood is often from Bunnings in Busselton on your way to Dunsborough, however several places in Dunsborough sell Firewood
The house has it's own Netflix account so feel free to use that while staying at the house. It can be easily located on the TV menu.

Make sure you head to nearby beach at low tide to walk out over the exposed Sand Bars, especially if it's at Sunset or Sunrise time. Your dog will love the Sand Bars too.

LEAVERS INQUIRIES - As a general rule we do not accept Leavers Bookings
If we do we have strict Leavers conditions that must be agreed to before any booking is taken. These include - $1,000 bond paid 1 month before the booking commences, 1 parent of the Leavers group must be in town or nearby for the duration of the stay, Max of 6 Leavers staying in the house and under no circumstance are extra's stay the night, and visitors kept to an absolute minimum.

Entire house is available for use for your family. Entry is via a secure lockbox.
Other things to note
Please give as much notice as possible if you would like linen provided. The fees are $20 a bed and will need to be left as cash for the cleaner who will make the required beds and wash it all afterwards. The linen fee includes Bath Towels also.
Well behaved and quiet Dogs are allowed at the Beach Shack however we do ask that they stay outside in the back yard. There are other dogs on the street so we don't want dogs that will be barking at other dogs and upsetting the neighbors. The rear yard is nice and large and a great place for your dog. The lowest fence is approx 4 feet tall if you are concerned about your dog being able to jump over and get out. The beach closest to the house will be a favorite for your dog too.
Bins are collected on Tuesday Mornings. Please do not forget to put them out if you are staying on a Monday night.
