A themed room for those who love Drive Ins, practical effects, scary movies, fun and Creature Feature films. Abounding in color the main denizens are Universal monster The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Alfred Hitchcock, King Kong, Jaws, and a host of others. Modern, king sized bed, throwback to the 70s and 80s with cargo furniture personalized and augmented for the space. It’s like a time warp to days when effects were practical, movies weren’t $200 million to make and popcorn was a $1.

The area where this apartment is located was very clean and quiet. There's a small park nearby. It's also pretty close to restaurants and some of the shopping areas (if you are in a car). This place definitely has a lot of character to it. It seems to me that if you were traveli…

I absolutely adore staying at Patrick's place. We've booked in the space four times now. It's a playful, good-hearted, fascinating place. Always grateful to him for the joy and the detail of the place and the rooms.

Patrick is a great host for this one of a kind BnB. The whole space is filed with unique memorabilia, pictures, and replicas from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and every corner of cult classics. The rooms are spacious and the common spaces comfortable and well appointed.

Absolutely FILTHY at every turn! Not a clean spot in the place. Bathrooms are not private as advertised. Air conditioner not adequate during summer months. I do not reccomend anyone stay here! I left, did not stay and got a full refund due to the abhorrent conditions.

Great open space - centrally located downtown with a Bohemian vibe. Loads of cool movie/superhero/sci-fi memorabilia. My college-age son loved hanging out there. Patrick and his family were welcoming, accommodating, and fun to talk with. Definitely a bargain.

I've stayed in all three of his rooms on multiple occasions on my travel contract and have never been disappointed and I don't think you will be either - the rooms are individually themed and are well furnished and private. I have no doubts you will enjoy your stay here...
