Paseo Bulnes is a pedestrian artery that makes up the southern part of the city's Civic Quarter. It unfolds from the Government Palace and contains the square that gives rise to it, known as Plaza Bulnes. In the central tray of the Alameda that separates it from the Plaza de la Ciudadanía is the Bicentennial Flag. Paseo Bulnes emerges as a quiet area in the middle of bustling downtown Santiago.
Together with the Civic Quarter and Almagro Park, Paseo Bulnes forms a National Monument in the Typical Zone category.
Walking distance points of interest from the apartment are the Palace of La Moneda and its Cultural Center (located under the Palace), the Plaza de la Constitución, the Entel Tower. A couple of blocks away are the Lastarria neighborhood, with a wide range of cuisine and culture. The GAM (Gabriela Mistral Cultural Centre), Museum of Fine Arts, Cerro Santa Lucia, Central Market, Plaza de Armas, Museum of Pre-Colombian Art among others.
