We had a great weekend here. The host is gracious, well spoken, helpful and warm. The property is nestled at the base of the table land away from the hustle & bustle of Panchgani and is serenely quiet. It is a farm turned home stay. The facilities are spartan but clean and functional. They could do with some updates/improvements but I'm sure that'll happen soon. The service staff was excellent, helpful and also very warm. The food is honest and home cooked. Please do not go here if you want room service, 'activities' and opportunities to 'check in'. This is a home(ly) stay and in my opinion it's USP.

Amazing location amidst nature. The host, Jayamala, a wonderful lady, welcomed us warmly and saw to it that we were comfortable. The caretaker Sunil took great care of us and cooked delicious food. We felt at home. Table land is very near to the farmhouse and we went trekking up there. A must go place.

Jaymala was a wonderful host. I had been to happy villa with my husband. She made sure we feel at home with timely interactions. The food here was very delicious and homely. We preferred eating at the villa over the local restaurants. If you are pet lover, then you will definitely enjoy here as the place has 3 dogs, a pair of ducks and hens. All of these pets are well trained and wont hamper your peace during your stay. The place is well maintained and refreshes you with its farm feel and early morning bird chirping. Definitely, a must try !!

Jayamala is a unique host. On first impressions, very strict and business like. But once you realise that she manages the large estate herself, and that she's actually well meaning once you get to know her, you tend to understand the tough exterior. Happy Villas is more like an eco-farm, so don't expect luxuries. While the owner has set up all amenities like geyser, AC etc., you can feel the age of the place. So if you're ok with heritage properties, you'll be fine. It's on top of a hill, away from the crowded areas. Go for a peaceful walk, have a small adventure climbing Table Land etc. Kitchen staff is excellent. Don't bring heavy bags, as there are no porters (her driver is the only lazy guy in her staff). Cute house pets like ducks and puppies. Overall, a decent experience. And Panchgani as a destination makes much more sense than Mahabaleshwar, which offers the same views but more crowds and more driving. I think I'd like to try Happy Villas again!

This place is absolutely lovely. Its a bit away from the panchgani market but not too far, lots of places to explore. The food is homely and very tasty. There are many places to explore around which we loved. Lots of greenery around the property and the staff was extremely warm and courteous.
