Enjoy the beautiful setting at the Balsams. Our unique, rustic log cabins are fully furnished with all the modern amenities. We have a private Lake Michigan beach (across Hwy 2) and several hiking trails on our 40 acres. Relax and enjoy your own fire pit and grill and cook in your own fully equipped kitchen. We are 5 minutes from stores, Mackinac Island ferries, and restaurants. We are close to all UP attractions and yet you will feel like you are in another world of peace and tranquility.

The space
Authentic historic log cabin built in the 1920's. The cabin has wood plank floors, an indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. The cabin sleeps 4 adults comfortably, but there is room for 6. We offer 1 queen bed, 1 full bed (alcove), and 1 futon for sleeping. If you enjoy spending time in the woods, you will enjoy our rustic cabin!
