Our stunning cottage is located in the Forest of Bowland AONB, in the grounds of Browsholme Hall. Sleeps 4 with 2 Bedrooms, both with TV, Bathroom, kitchen and living room with woodburning stove. Large garden with table and chairs. Free Car Parking.

The space

Set in the grounds of an Browsholme Hall, Mews Cottage is an idyllic place to stay. A listed building it has quirky features with windows on different levels, and a large garden at the rear.
Sympathetically restored and renovated in 2011, the house maintains it's original features and character as an early farmworker's dwelling but has all mod cons.
A fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge (with small freezer compartment), washer/dryer.
The dining area is at the opposite end of the kitchen and has a table and fotur chairs.
In the sitting room there are two sofas, together with TV, DVD player and woodburning stove. Logs are provided for this in the winter months.
The house is fully centrally heated (via our biomass boiler) and has a constant hot water supply.

The Master Bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV.

The second bedroom has twin beds and a small chest of drawers and TV. This is a small room and the beds can be zipped together to form a King Size bed.

There is one large bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin and towel rail.

Guest access

Fully self-contained the cottage is 50m from the main road, surrounded by fields and agricultural buildings. As guests you will have access to walks round the lake.

Interaction with guests

The hosts live in the Hall and they and their staff are available to offer help and advice during your stay.
When you arrive we'll show you round and leave basics for you such as milk, tea and coffee.

Other things to note

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets in the house.
The Hall is open to the Public on Wednesdays during the Summer months, and there are other days when the gardens are open and we host plant fairs. All the details are on the website (URL HIDDEN)
On days when the Hall is open to the public there is a tea room serving light lunches which you are very welcome to use.
