A beautiful Georgian townhouse built as a merchant house overlooking Bristol in 1720 nestled in a quiet corner between the City center and Clifton village. We are surrounded by trees and parks, yet right by the University and within walking distance of all the best bits of Bristol.
Having a large open plan sitting/diner and kitchen. It is a perfect place to rent out as a group for someone's birthday or a group of friends 'getaway'.

The space
Our beautiful period house has recently been refurbished to a high spec with a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher.

All 7 bedrooms are light and roomy with comfy king size beds and shower en-suites. There is a beautiful open plan sitting/dining room that overlooks Berkeley Square park on one side and Brandon Hill on the other. The space is ideal for family get together's, reunions and large groups who want to enjoy the peace and quiet in a large and luxurious space that is ideally placed for exploring all that Bristol has to offer.

Tina lives on-site in a studio on the ground floor to host you and make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We are very friendly but give you exclusive use of the lounge kitchen, dining area plus the top 2 floors where the bedrooms are situated.

We can offer the option of 2 different catering companies if you're wanting the weekend to be more relaxed and special.

Perhaps your group is arriving late and want to be greeted with some home cooking or a full English breakfast in the morning. Or you're celebrating and fancy champagne and canapes on arrival or an afternoon tea with your friends just ask! We are happy to offer you and your group a tailor-made experience, just get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Our place is set over the ground floor, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor of this period building so we do have a few stairs!

The property sits on the top terrace of a square with access to a public garden in the middle and backs onto Brandon Hill which has stunning views over the harbourside and city beyond. The square is largely residential so it wouldn't be suitable for large groups wanting to make a lot of noise.

There is a small space to the back of the property ideal for BBQ'ing but no large enough to eat out there.

Guest access
Our place occupies 4 floors of an elegant house and in the basement there are therapy rooms which you may wish to arrange appointments during your stay. You have full run of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the building and Tina lives on site on the ground floor entrance of the building in a studio and can be as discreet or on hands as you wish.

Other things to note
The house is an amazing beautiful place for enjoying time with friends and the lounge & kitchen at night are great for having drinks and a laugh. It is well soundproofed if the doors are kept shut. However, it is a residential area so before you book make sure your group is a good match bearing in mind we sleep on site, their is a family next door, and a boutique hotel on the other side. Therefore.... - No loud music after 11pm -No extra people to come back unless agreed in advance -Smoking to be done in the park at the front away from the houses.

Location

City of Bristol, England, United Kingdom

This is a beautiful quiet Georgian square surrounded by lovely parks, but you can walk everywhere; shops, clubs, cafes, University, suspension bridge, harbourside.
It is one of the most beautiful parts of Bristol. Nestled between Berkeley Square and Brandon Hill, this city centre location is idyllic. With birds singing songs throughout the day and the hustle & bustle of Queen’s Road and Park Street there couldn’t be a better location to discover Bristol.
Brandon Hill is a wonderful place to get lost in and enjoy nature at its best (in your own backyard!). Discover its waterfalls, woodland and meadow. There's a playground too and the paths lead you all the way down to the river Avon and the centre of town.
Park Street is filled with independent clothing stores, charity shops, and the original Boston Tea Party coffee shop. Try out Pinkman’s, a modern bakery and cafe. There are plenty of wonderful bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and the great Bristol Museum is over the road. Swoon at the bottom of Park Street is an absolute must if you are a lover of Italian gelato.
Places to discover less than 15 minutes away by foot: The harbour, the Aquarium, Colston Hall, the SS Great Britain, the Watershed cinema, @Bristol science museum, The Old Vic, the Arnolfini, St. Nicholas Market
The famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bristol Zoo are just a short bus ride away.
St. George, the world famous concert hall is situated around the corner. Visit their website to see if there’s anything on during your stay!
