Hello Jennifer, thank you for your great review. I appreciate that very much. I strive to make sure all of my guests have an enjoyable stay in any of my cabins. I understand you felt a little isolated out in the wilderness. For myself growing up on the near Southside of Chicago I love the hustle and bustle of downtown Dells, I could sit on the benches of the strip of downtown Dells and people watch for hours. But then I love the serenity of where the cabins are on the 800 acres Wilderness Just 4 miles outside of town. I don't know if you had a chance to try the restaurants on the property. There is a family dining restaurant in the center of the property, they have another restaurant that is carryout or delivery only right to your cabin, and another restaurant and bar on the outskirts of the property, which makes great pizza and sandwiches and fun for the whole family. The four pools with adjoining hot tubs located throughout the property are so much fun. I don't know if you had a chance to try any of the amenities included with your stay. Like I had told you all the amenities are attached as you are my guest just as if I was using them myself. A couple of the things I love the most, the paddle boats canoes or kayaks you just sign out and use there is no cost. The miniature golf course is open and available for your use from morning until 11 p.m. at night, the golf clubs and balls are located on the side of the activity building. Also of course they have the sand volleyball pits, the horseshoe pits, the bean bag games, the tennis courts, and the basketball courts. If you go to the activities building, you just asked for items like the tennis rackets and tennis balls, they will give you them for your use. So I understand it is hard that you feel isolated on the property, but there is so much to do, and so much to see within a few miles if you find nothing enjoyable on the property. I hope you will come and stay again.
