Elsie was a wonderful host. The home that she has created and so kindly shares was perfect for our week long stay, and our first visit to Japan. The famed snow did indeed fall constantly, so the morning (and evening) shoveling provided a nice warm-up before heading into the mount…

Fabulous place. Obviously ideal for snowsporters but we were there just to enjoy the house and the snow. Kids loved it! Could let them loose in the area around the house without worries. I did loads of cooking and reading... All perfect.

We really enjoyed staying here. It worked great for our group of 6 adults as we checked out all the different ski resorts in the area. I really appreciated the information provided to help us decide where to go. We wanted a quiet place to end our days and this was perfect.
