Kirsten's home was most comfortable and quite nicely proximal to the city via excellent public transportation and inviting, lovely walking paths. My spouse and I enjoyed her quiet neighborhood and her home was invitingly friendly for our needs. We lacked for nothing in the way of everyday living. Every morning, we devoured the delicious, homemade muesli, yoghurt, and coffee that she kindly left for us. Kirsten happily (so it seemed to us) greeted us at the bus stop, immediately accessible to her home, in the dead of night (23:30 to be precise). Her manner at that hour was warmly helpful, welcoming, and greatly appreciated! We'd recommend her home and location without any footnotes. Kirsten's home unreservedly complemented our greatly enjoyable visit to Oslo! Thank you, Kirsten! Marlene & Tom Walker, Alexandria, Virginia

We highly recommend Kirsten's apartment located in the very quiet and green (bonus: the lilacs were in bloom) Lindern area where we spent 3 nights. We took the Flybus FB1 from the airport and Kirsten was so kind as to meet us at the bus stop across the street from her apartment. She had coffee, excellent home made granola, and Greek yogurt for us! And great Norwegian chocolates, too! Kirsten was available for any and all questions. The apartment is cosy and bright, with a balcony and everything we needed was provided. There is a grocery store 5 minutes from the apartment and the bus to downtown is right across the street. We don't think you can find a better green, quiet, and convenient spot in all of Oslo!

My stay for work reasons was the ideal for my needs. A small lovely apartment for real in the middle of everything..only few minutes walking from the center of the city and full of any desiderable comfort, from perfect warming, nice balcony with open view to the city till electrical appliance, and a very well organized kitchen zone. Last but not least the availability of the host to welcome you to show all the comforts and to solve whatever problem one could have. I strongly recommend it to anybody.

Kirsten's apartment was located perfect walking distance to Oslo city centre, she was also incredibly helpful with helping us find things to do while we were in town. The apartment was very clean and homely, the breakfast was beautiful. Contact with Kirsten was very easy, she also allowed us to check out late as we had to pick up a car from the airport, My fiancé and I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for a great start to our Scandinavian holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kirsten's apartment. We stayed over for 3 nights, the apartment is a great size for 2 people. The apartment is very well furnished and homely and it has a really nice balcony that gets the sun in the morning so its ideal for having breakfast. It's location is perfect; the bus to the city centre is right outside the apartment or you can walk to the city centre which only takes 30 minutes. It is located close to St Hauganstan, which has a really nice park, and is only 10-15 minute walk to Grunerlokka which has a number of nice and unique places for food and drinks. Lastly, Kirsten was a very considerate host. She gave us directions from the airport to the apartment, which helped as it was our first time visiting Oslo. She checked in with us during our stay to ensure everything was going well. And as a really nice touch, Kirsten left us some food that we could(and did!) have for breakfast. Overall, we were very happy with our stay in Kirsten's apartment and would certainly recommend staying there.

I was in Oslo for 4 days with my partner and the apartment was perfect. Central to everything and close to transport links, the flat was the perfect base for our stay.

Kirsten User ProfileKirsten is a superhost.

I am an active 64 year old woman still working. I love my work, Leadership Development, but I also have an active freetime. I like biking, jogging and indoor training, but cross skiing in the winter is my favorite activity. When it comes to cultural activity, my passion is classical music - espesially music that challenges me. I also spend a lot of times reading and watching films.
When I am not in Oslo, I usually spend my time in my cottage in the Swedish Westcoast gardening, fishing, bathing and hosting family and friends. My cottage is also the reason for my to hire out my apartement in Oslo.
