The space
Our cosy little cottage is a converted grain store. It has a bedroom upstairs with a double bed and en-suite shower room (You will find some bathroom essentials, so if you have forgotten anything, please feel free to use them). Downstairs is a small lounge with a comfortable sofa/sofa bed, TV (Smart) and kitchenette. Free Wifi also available.
This is self catering accommodation, however I have prodvided, Tea, Coffee, Suger, Fresh Milk and some snack bars (Gluten free option too). If you like eggs, please mention this, as we have 5 hens and often have spare to share with you. The kitchenette has a fridge (with small freezer compartment), 2 ring induction hob, combi microwave with oven and grill, sink, kettle and toaster. Also provided: Saucepans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, utensils etc.
If you don't want to cook, there is a lovely thatched pub about a 5 minute walk away, which cooks lovely homemade meals. Also, Andover town centre is close by which has many restaurants, ranging from pub grub, chinese, indian, pizza/pasta and turkish cuisine.
This accommodation has its own front door, so you can come and go as you please.
Designated parking space for our guests.
The Pilhill Brook runs alongside our garden of which we have fishing rights to. The brook is a 9.9-kilometre-long tributary of the River Anton. It is a chalk stream, known for its trout fishing.

Guest access
There is a washing machine in the main house which we are happy for you to use on request, alternatively pass your washing over and I will do it for you. There is a washing line in the garden. An iron and ironing board is within the accomodation too.
You are welcome to walk round our lovely garden, or even sit in it weather permitting. We have fishing rights on the river which runs past our garden.
All we ask is that you make sure gates are closed as you leave the garden, so our lovely little girls (Westie dogs) dont escape.

Other things to note
There is a sofa bed in the downstairs space. If you wish to have bedding for this, then please let us know. The accommodation is comfortable for 2 people, however if there is an additional person over the age of 12 who will use the sofabed, please check for additional costs.
We have 2 female Westie dogs who are super friendly. They love humans!
Also we have 5 hens (No Cockerels).

The village where we are located is in a conservation area, quiet and very picturesque. Lots of traditional thatched chocolate box cottages. Rivers and streams flow through the village. We have a traditional village pub with a thatched roof, which serves lovely home cooked meals (5 minute walk). It also has a skittle alley. We also have a lovely farm shop. Our neighbouring village has two pubs and a shop with post office.
Andover town centre is short distance away, where you will find shops, places to eat, a bowling alley and cinema. There are also beautiful villages closeby, all with lovely traditional pubs.
If you like playing Golf, there are two courses near by.
