This place is a hidden treasure...if rustic with a view, and endless hours of staring out to sea or exploring rugged coastline, and listening to crashing waves as you drift to sleep are your thing...this place is magical!

We had an amazing stay at Mike's cabin. He does an excellent job describing some of the unique characteristics of its location (needing 4wd vehicle) as well as the rather rustic nature of the abode. It is everything you would want in a beautiful quiet setting. The only external influence was an occasional jet to remind you that civilization exists beyond. Being so convenient to the TIMS store was also really handy in the event you needed a few items. We were up at dawn watching the lobstermen haul their traps. We saw a beautiful waterfowl, including loons, osprey & even a bald eagle. We canoed over to the sand beach & explored some of the other corners of the island. If you were looking for a simple quaint place to disconnect then this will be a perfect location for you. Our 3 1/2 year-old son wanted to stay forever. Thanks Mike for making this little piece of paradise available on Airbnb.

We loved everything about it. Rustic and off the grid, but that was the charm for us. A few days off from checking emails every second and watching for the bald eagle to come by. No complaints and as advertised, Thanks to Mike.

This secluded cabin is beautifully located. Nothing but blueberry bushes and boulders between it and a lovely tidal cove with herons, eagles and ducks nesting nearby. The canoe was great for exploring and got us to a sandy beach for a swim. The one-room cabin is cleverly designed with a cozy, comfortable sleeping loft - bit of nimbleness required to get up there! Also for the steep hike in with your gear if you don't have a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

This place is magical! I echo others in saying it is definitely like camping elevated to the next level. The setting could not be more beautiful and relaxing- it is definitely an opportunity to disconnect from the rest of the world! I went with my husband, 14 month old and dog and we all had a great time! My daughter especially loved the copious amounts of blueberry's growing in front of the house! The house itself is great, cozy and has all of the necessities. I would say that this is not a place for the elderly or physically impaired- the main bed is accessed by a ladder and there is a steep hill you have to climb to get to any non-4 wheel drive vehicle (like ours) but these were not issues for us. Also, we never really figured out (or even really tried to figure out) how to use the propane run fridge, shower or stove but opted to use our cooler and the firepit instead and we were fine. If we didn't have a baby to watch constantly I think we totally could have figured it out though. All in all, this place is amazing and we would love to return again some year!

A truly lovely spot. Must put up with some flies and inconvenience though.
