What a gorgeous view and special place to stay!!! We were invited to call upon arrival but our phone died, we easily found the house number and a bird painted sign with La Cinzia. Chantel's Mama let us in and showed us everything. The family lives next door and the son downstairs, all speak English and are wonderful!! Available to help.
The apartment is full of character, charm and beauty. The huge view of town below and mountains looming is breathtaking! Kitchen equipped with everything and some items you may need. So user friendly and inviting. Skylights and cute windows everywhere brighten the all wood ceilings and huge beam construction. Very special place to stay rain or shine. Far nicer than photos capture.
Easy walk to adorable town, also nice flat walks to hamlets along the heights, worth seeing and view of Mt Blanc on way back, waterfalls above and rushing near the house!. Other towns also so fun to visit nearby, especially Courmayeur! It is expensive to go to Chamonix, tunnels pricey then the fantastic cable car very costly now, so we opted to stay close to 'home'.
There is construction at the house right now, the noise did not bother us. The workers are family or at least kind.
Directions from Aosta, after exiting the roundabout to Morgex the road dead ends. Go left up the hill above the town, take the first right at the curve into a little hamlet of homes. You will see the name of the hamlet/ street. Go almost to end of short street, house on the left.
The town is right at the dead end, park and walk in to shop, though a large Family grocery store is off the main road by car, it is excellent.
We loved our stay here! A top favorite in our 10 weeks of beauty in Italy!!
