Very nicely decorated and arranged place

Lovely, quirky apartment with a double bed, a bunk bed & single bed so plenty of space for 5 people. We didn't meet Virginie but she left very clear instructions at the flat & plenty of clear communication by email & mobile in advance. (It was all in French as my French is ok, though not perfect). She's clearly put a lot of love into the flat and it's full of personality. We walked there from the Caen ferry, which took about half an hour but was through a lovely neighbourhood full of whimsical French houses. Only 5 minutes walk to get onto the lovely long beach of Ouistreham, and less than 10 min to Blvd de la Mer street of restaurants & shops. The location is lovely & quiet but a very short walk to the middle of the action. I would definitely stay here again! Merci beaucoup Virginie!

Virginie's place is just perfect in every way. It is a beautiful apartment, it has a great location (2mins to the beach, yet in a very quiet neighborhood which feels really local) and Virginie is a great host. From the lovely note we found on arrival via all the things that were being provided to the surprisingly spacious accommodation - I had a great time. Highly recommended, would be very happy to go back!

The best thing is the location of the house, some 200m away from the Sward beach. Unforunately we didn`t meet the host in all week of our stay, which is the main reason of our little disappointment. I would recomend the host to the guests that are not to demanding on their stay and for the price you get enough. Anyway we spend a lovely vacation in Ouistreham and on the coasts of D-Day.

Nicely decorated and spacious place that feels very homely. Provided with all necessary amenities with all working household equipment. Very near to the beach and you can hear the sound of the crashing waves from the apartment. For those who drives, there is a private parking space within the compound and next to the apartment.

I didn't meet Virginie for long, but she had arranged for the apartment to be available to us. It was exactly as listed. The location was perfect for us, and had plenty of parking. Overall, nothing negative to say about this at all!

Unfortunately Virginie did not meet us and brief us. House was adequate and convenient. Restaurants were reasonably priced and locations that we wanted to visit were close
