Other things to note
Steve and Grace have 2 lovely Labradors who live on site, and a highly strung cat who Is half Bengal and very inquisitive! They are all very friendly and our dogs always like anyone who will throw their ball!l They are not allowed to wander around the garden on their own but Please be careful when driving down the drive as they may have escaped! Please drive very slowly! Also when you come down the drive and cross the stream be careful as the granite on the bridge sticks out so keep wide.
We may have guests staying in ‘The Shepherds Hut’ at the same time but this will not impact your stay at all as your space is completely separate.

Neighbourhood highlights

Crean is in quiet wooded valley close to all attractions of West Cornwall. It is a very spiritual area with lots of artists and poets living in the vicinity. Sennen Cove and Lands End are three miles away. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno Beach are two miles - walkable from the Mill - directions can be given! Lots of circular walks around coast path. The village of St Buryan is one mile away where there is a shop and pub. Treen is just over a mile or so the other way with the famous Logan Rock where you will also find a lovely Cornish pub with open fire and good beer, (walk from the house) - there is also a little a small cafe open in the season serving cream teas and sandwiches. Takes about 25 mins to walk across the fields to Logan Rock. There are lots of things to do and see in this area and lots of lovely walks. Penberth Cove is a 25 minute walk - this is sometimes full of tv crew filming Poldark so you may be lucky and catch a glimpse! It is approx a 25 min walk onto the coast path where you can take in all of the lovely coves, views and wildlife! The Minack is walkable down the road and takes approx 25 minutes. Porthgwarra cove is a short drive or walkable (takes about 40 mins) and has a lovely cafe with amazing cream teas! We have the best of Cornwall all on your doorstep!
It is a very quiet valley which is why we love living here - no clubs, pubs or nightlife in the immediate vicinity. If you want a boozy, knees up, party holiday this won’t be for you! If you want to relax and be at one with nature this is definitely for you!

What makes my home unique: our sub-tropical garden
Steve and I moved to Cornwall in 2007 from Shropshire (as far from the sea as you can get!) and now we never want to leave! I Work locally as a Solicitor and Steve is a professional builder and master craftsman who is renovating our old Mill. We love the peace and tranquility of Crean and the closeness to the beautiful beaches and costal walks. We love being in our garden and looking after our pets - 2 lively Labradors and a lovely (high maintenance) pussy cat ! We have done lot of travelling over the years - a year in our old VW camper surf bus around Europe trying to find the perfect wave and a year backpacking around the world - so we feel we know what travellers are looking for on their holiday! We shall aim to give you a stay that brings you many nice memories!
