Our homely mountain apartment is very cosy and suitable mainly for families with smaller or bigger kids. It's right below the Telgart Ski Resort so it's perfect for winter family gateways but also for mountain lovers during spring, summer or autumn.

The space

Welcome to our Telgart Home Apartment. Its a family friendly and convenient apartment that is most suitable for families with children who are looking for winter holiday in mountains and close to ski resort.
Also wonderful in spring and summer for nature lovers as thanks to 3 national Parks close by there are many beautiful places to see or mountain tracks for outdoorsy families.

Holiday Resort Telgart is situated in Ski Centre in Telgárt village (32 km from Poprad), which is located under majestic Kráľova hoľa hill. Resort is placed in mountainous area between three national parks – Low Tatras, Muran Plateau and Slovak Paradise. Thanks to the spectacular surrounding scenery the Resort is designated to relaxation and active holidays.

Restaurant Meander in located in the apartment house. It is dedicated to all, who are looking for delicious food or who would like to sit back and relax over cup of good coffee or glass of wine. The capacity is 40 seats. Restaurant Meander is ideal place for company events, family celebrations or meeting with friends.

The surrounding area of the Resort is characterised by beautiful mountainous relief with a unique fauna and flora. Guests, who are fans of winter sports, will appreciate a neighborhood of downhill runs with number of ski-lifts, which are located only few steps from their comfortable apartments. Skiing slopes of Ski Centre Telgárt are suitable for all categories of skiers.

In the summer you can go trekking or cycling along one of marked tourist trails and discover beauties of surrounding mountains, impressive environment of Hron spring or village Dedinky. Thanks to excellent climatic conditions and variety of active relaxation possibilities throughout the all year Resort Telgárt is ideal place for your holidays.

Guest access

Access to the whole apartment including big family room and common area which contains kitchen and living room and one bathroom for the apartment. Access to all amenities in the apartment including TV, WIFI, washing machine, microwave with grill, fridge, etc.

Interaction with guests

Over email/phone as I do not live in Telgart but our friendly receptionist in the apartment house will take care of all your needs on site during your stay.
Please note, in case you cannot find some item in the room itself as mentioned above, it might be stored away by reception for security reasons, feel free to approach reception to provide you the item (games, hair dryer, extra chairs, etc.) If you cannot contact reception, please sms me so I can solve it asap to your convenience.

The neighbourhood

It's beautiful countryside and mountains from each side of the apartment house. It's really peaceful and relaxing.

Getting around

Need to have a car to get around as there is not much public transport available. If you want to cycle, please bring bicycles too as there is no rental yet. There is however rent available at ski resort for skis and snowboards. Ski resort is walking distance.

Other things to note

If there are any minor issues in the apartment like bulb not working or loose door knob, please do let reception know, they will help you as soon as possible or sms or whatsup me to arrange for someone to assist you. In case anything gets broken, please do let us know so we can replace it asap for new guests.
Restaurant in the apartment house might be closed sometimes for function or other reasons. There are few great restaurants in Telgárt village just 10 minutes walk away or few minutes by car.

RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. CHECK-IN TIME is after 2 p.m. CET and CHECK-OUT TIME is 12 p.m. CET. No early check-ins. This agreement does not create a tenancy or residence. You must depart at the appropriate time.
2. This is a NON-SMOKING unit
3. Only small pets are allowed in the unit
4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. SECURITY DEPOSIT - a security deposit of EUR100 is required. Security deposit is handled through Airbnb's payment system. Airbnb will automatically authorize the guest's credit card for the deposit 24 hours prior to check-in and release it 48 hours after the checkout date, if no damages are reported by the host. If damages are reported, then Airbnb Support will mediate with the guest and host to make sure both parties are represented fairly. The following provisions must be met for the deposit to be returned:
a) No damage is done to unit or its content beyond normal wear and tear
b) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay
c) All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are cleaned.
d) All keys are returned and unit is left locked.
e) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f) No linens or appliances are lost or damaged.
g) The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), by the management company or local law enforcement

6. PAYMENT - payment is processed through Airbnb payment system. On acceptance of booking, your payment is immediately processed and collected in full, after which you can view your billing receipts in your Airbnb account. As a safety feature, Airbnb holds your payment until 24 hours after you check in before transferring it to the host. This gives you time to arrive at the listing and make sure that everything is as expected.
7. CANCELLATIONS - 50% refund up until 1 week prior to arrival, except Airbnb fees. The Airbnb service fee is non-refundable. If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Airbnb within 24 hours of check-in. Airbnb will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes. A reservation is not officially canceled until the guest receives a cancellation confirmation e-mail from Airbnb. To get your cancellation e-mail, go to your Travel Plans. If the cancellation e-mail is not received, contact Airbnb or call 1.855.4.AIRBNB (phone number hidden)) or (phone number hidden). For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made seven full days prior to listing's local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check in, otherwise no refund. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Friday of the previous week before check in time. If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded. If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - the maximum number of guests per apartment is limited to six persons.
9. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods.
10. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one time linen-towel set up. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
11. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPER SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily housekeeper service is not included in the rental rate, however it's available at an additional rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken out from units and used outside of the unit.
12. RATE CHANGES - Rates subject to change without notice.
13. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
14. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
