My garden studio apartment located in Kew is 5 mins walk from the World Heritage site of Kew Gardens and 15 mins walk from the river Thames pathway. Kew Village with its independent shops and restaurants is close-by (500m) and the train station (overground and district line) is less than 10 minutes walk so makes the flat the perfect base from which to explore the many sights of London.

My third visit now (I think!) and whenever I'm working in west London this will always be my very first choice to check on AirBnB. Wonderful studio space with all the amenities you could wish for. Fabulous.

My second visit to Charlotte's brilliant little hideaway in Kew. And this one was just as good as the first. Brilliant location for so many things (if needed), a quiet and peaceful location within just a few minutes of Kew Gardens themselves as well as the station and Kew village…

For a single traveller or a couple wishing to stay in a tranquil, peaceful part of west London, I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Pleasingly quiet, despite being by a busy-ish road, it has a lovely airy, open studio feel with pretty much every facility you could wis…

Charlotte’s place was perfectly fit for purpose. She was very communicative in the lead up to our stay, and the flat was sparkling clean when we moved in. A large, incredibly designed studio with all the amenities you could need - even a garden! Thanks so much, Charlotte!

I stayed here for 22 days, the sofa bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and I felt like home. Charlotte was very hospitable, courteous and responsive. Close to the National Archives, only 10 minutes to the subway station.

I booked this apartment for my parents and I didn’t stay there myself so the review is based on what I heard from my parents. They liked the location which is very close to the Kew Garden station, however the apartment seems to be a modification from a garage with door and window…

Response from Charlotte:
Hi Yin and thank you for your review. To clarify a few points. The space has never been a garage. We have lived here for 12 years and prior to that our understanding was the space was used by a local florist for her business. The door at the front designed by our architect was to give the impression of a "Mews house" to create the impression of a (Chelsea) studio space and is double glazed - the floor is at least 12cm from the ground so a car cannot be driven into the area; at least not without great difficulty. Yes, the main property does back onto a underground railway line but the Studio has a separate private, fenced garden and is not, directly connected to the railway - there is a distance of 4m. However, we take privacy seriously so will look at what else we can do with introducing trees or screening; so point noted. We are sorry that you were surprised, but as our reviewers have noted it is a studio space, a "tranquil space" and is described in accordance with their feedback and previous rating of 4.8.
