The space
10 x 20’ cozy, bright cottage. Off grid with small solar system.

Unplumbed- Drinking water dispenser and bucket shower. Bucket toilet. Its not scary or stinky!
Propane cook top and heat.

Unplugged- No wifi. Limited cell reception (2 miles to closest wifi café)

Quaint front porch with rocking chair and awesome vista of gardens, pond, stars, hills...

Private access to our earth temples; stone circle, labyrinth and faery well.

Swimming pond, and nice walking along brook on road and trails.
Close to mountain hikes and biking fun!

You will have the whole cottage to yourselves!

Access involves 1 mile maintained dirt road and driveway. All cars work here. Just take it slow.

Verbena Vista parking is on the left just above the big green yurt.
Short uphill walk to cottage from parking and three steps to get in.

In winter, a cargo sled is provided to move your bags up from your car to cottage.

Other things to note
In cold months, bring slippers.
Flash light or head lamp is helpful here.

Please BYO sheets for double bed. I provide blankets and pillows.

Please follow these directions:
The address is 233 Downs Rd but please be aware that navigation systems OFTEN mislead folks onto impassible class 4 roads. To avoid this, make sure you stay on Rt. 12 all the way to Downs Rd.
From Montpelier, take Rt 12 north about 9 miles. Turn left onto Downs Rd. at the yellow farm house w brown trip. Road is dirt. Take it SLOW. Drive in about a mile, Dreamland driveway will be on your right. You will see the green metal gate and our sign by the pond. Drive up and park on the left just past the green yurt.
