KAMA is a brand new boutique bed & breakfast in downtown Bangkok. Our calming space is a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok.

We are located in a true Thai neighborhood. There are very few foreigners around (read: this is not a touristy area). But we're close by foot, river taxi, scooter taxi or car to any of the sights and nightlife you might want to take in. If you're looking for a laid back authentic vibe in the heart of the city, this is it!

With modern design in mind we've emphasized comfort and style with raw concrete, white walls, wood trim and lots of green plants and some flowers (when in bloom!).

Art is central to our ideology and our space feels a bit like an accessible art gallery. We feature art from artists around the world. And if you like a piece you can contact the artist directly!

Our rooms are outfitted with a comfy mattresses, fresh white linens and new custom furniture. Our guests say they are simple, elegant and comfortable. A beautiful piece of art in each room for you art lovers! (so are we).

In true Thai guesthouse style, the bathrooms are shared. The bathrooms showers are large, clean and brand new with floating mirrors and new everything. There are 3 per floor so you shouldn't have a problem getting one when you need it.

KAMA also has a small restaurant and bar on the ground floor that features Thai and Western food. Our coffee is fresh from the best roaster in Bangkok you can get it in a classic french press. We also have fresh pastries, juices and smoothies available.

Shoot us a line if you have any questions and we'll be happy to answer them for you.

Guests have access to the common areas of the floors they are staying on, plus the rooftop and the Bar/Restaurant on the ground floor.

We gauge our interaction based on the guests needs. We can help you arrange local transportation, get you directions to points of interest and give you recommendations for places to eat or catch live music. Just ask and we'll point you in the right direction.

We love our neighborhood because it's a truly authentic Thai neighborhood. There are temples, markets and Asiatique (an outdoor thai shopping area).

There's an amazing market street a block away that sells all types of Thai food on the street as well as other goods. We're also have easy access to the Sathorn, Silom, Siam and Sukhumvit areas.

The river taxi is a 10 minute walk away down a bustling market street. It's a fun walk.

You can grab a scooter taxi on the street corner that will take you anywhere or you could just take it to the BTS station.

We are close to two BTS stations: Saphan Taksin and Surasak.

Upon booking our system will send you a welcome note. It includes a detailed map with instructions in Thai for any driver to read and get you safely to KAMA.

We stayed at Kama for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff is so friendly, talked a lot with us and helped us out when we had questions! They cleaned the bathrooms several times a day. There is a beautiful rooftop where you can see the skyline of Bangkok. Thank you so much, we would love to come again and greetings to the two filipino guys, they were so nice! Sophie & Philippe

Kama is a cool place although located in a very residential area. The front desk staff were very helpful and gave me a great suggestion when I wanted to go get a massage. Overall good stay.

Kama is located in a great neighborhood and in a beautiful building with an amazing roof deck. Our room was spacious and clean. We would stay here again! **Go get pad thai from the Pad Thai Guys down the street, it's the best pad thai we have ever had, and it's super cheap!

Originally from San Francisco in the US but I live in Bangkok now and I love it. I've been in Bangkok for a year now and I'm truly enjoying getting to know the culture, the history and the people here. I'm also an AirBnB host in San Francisco.

Normally if I'm in the city I'm hanging out with friends, catching dinner, seeing a movie or running around town. But I also love to get out of town as often as I can to explore. I love to travel, and most often to beautiful, sunny places with sand and beautiful crystal clear water!

Last year my partners and I decided to open Kama Bangkok because we love traveling and we love welcoming guests to the amazing country that is Thailand! We wanted to create a boutique styled bed & breakfast that's hip, stylish and affordable.

We welcome you to come stay with us! We'll make sure you're comfortable and taken care of. We'll make sure you can have the experiences you're looking for and find the places you want to see!
